It was that night which Elie Wiesel couldn't forget. The night where he had to get separated from his mother and his little sister to survive the horrifying Holocaust game-to work hard to death or die.....
-The third officer in Majdanek concentration camp
- He got arested by the SS guards by killing the Jewish prisoners as he was pleased. He got investigated by the SS and was executed in April 15th 1945.
Painter Tamara was one of the survivors of the Holocaust in Europe. She was born in Kovno, Lithuania and had her own normal and beautiful childhood. However, her childhood ended as soon as the first bomb fell on her town. Her family tried to move to Russia. But the Germans caught them and sent her family to the Ghetto. Both of her parents were murdered. Her sister and she were sent to the concentration camp Kaiswerwald in Latvia. She was then sent to number of work camps. Before the liberation, she was forced on a death march to the gas chambers. During the march many people died. Her sister and she managed to escape the march by sneaking out of the line and hiding in a Polish family house until the Red Army came. She came to Israel and studied in Israel. She began to paint, sculpt and write poetry in remembrance ever since.
